In 2007, a quadrilateral security dialogue format was established, in which 4 states with democratic values ​​are united: USA, Japan, Australia and India.The scientific article describes the goals of the union of the states participating in the dialogue and the points of intersection of their interests. The role of China as a common opponent state is highlighted.
