Abstract

This article aims to analyze countries where mountain sustainable tourism has achieved a high level of development, as well as to review undergraduate and graduate educational programs that prepare specialists for promoting such regions and attracting tourists. Switzerland, Austria, and Norway are highlighted as leading countries in this field. The article also discusses the key disciplines necessary for success in this area.​
