The article presents an analysis of Roald Dahl's children's book ‘The fantastic Mr. Fox’, based on the identification and interpretation of fairy tale archetypes within the work. The aim of the article is to investigate, based on the analyzed material, the significance of the archetypal elements in Dahl's children's book and their connection to the fairy tales of different cultures. Additionally, the research seeks to determine the transformation of fairy tale archetypes from the folk tales of various cultures to Dahl's work, identifying which archetype is most prominent and which country's fairy tales exhibit the greatest similarities.
