Abstract

Trauma caused by non-removable orthodontic constructions is in the 3rd place among soft tissue injuries of the oral cavity. The aim of the study was evaluation the effectiveness of the treatment of erosive-ulcerative lesions caused by chronic mechanical trauma using “Miradont-Gel”. The study showed that the use of “Miradont-Gel” is superior in terms of the effectiveness of both tension and burning, as well as pain relief, compared to the treatment with sea buckthorn oil. The same advantage was revealed in terms of the speed and efficiency of epithelization of erosive-ulcerative lesions caused by chronic mechanical trauma.
