Abstract
Macrocheilitis is a very common condition associated with a variety of pathological processes developed on the lips. Therefore, the aim of our study was to examine the patients with various etiology diseases which manifest of macrocheilitis, to work out the algorithm and clinical-histological correlations, based on which we will conduct differential diagnosticis of these diseases and identify reliable complexity of diagnostic criteria. Spliting patients into clinical groups allowed us to work out some algorithm of diagnostics and differential diagnostics of these diseases (Quincke’s edema, Michre granulomatic macrocheilitis, Melkerson-Rosenthal syndrome), which is important for timely, correct diagnosis and sending of the patients to relevant profile physician.
