Abstract
Pemphigus vulgaris is a rare chronic autoimmune blistering disease that often initially manifests in the oral mucosa. The article presents clinical cases where in the first case the patient’s oral lesions were incorrectly diagnosed as prosthesis-associated pathology for seven years. In the second case, laryngitis treatment was carried out for four months, and later, it was accompanied by manifestations on the oral mucosa, and in the third case, painful erosions and a burning sensation in the mouth were observed for two weeks, which significantly complicated nutrition and oral hygiene. A positive Nikolsky sign and detection of Tzanck cells led to the correct diagnosis of pemphigus and referral to a dermatologist. Early recognition by dental professionals and multidisciplinary management are crucial to improve patient outcomes.
