Abstract

           In the modern period, social advertising occupies an important place on Georgian TV, and this is natural, because this type of advertising stands at the service of the population (such advertising is aimed at helping the poor people, informs the population about their rights and obligations, etc.). The reasons for their creation are different. There also are serial advertisements devoted to some problems. The theme of social advertisement is determined by the country and period itself. The social advertisements created in Georgian TV space in different periods also reflect the problems existing at a particular time. It turned out that some advertisements from previous years are not so relevant today because this problem has already been solved, but there are some issues that, along with some new topics (for example, about “Covid19”), remained a problem at the same time, and therefore, advertisements were filmed about them.
