Abstract

One of the major challenges in Georgia’s modern history is the conflicts in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali, which have significantly affected not only the country’s territorial integrity but also regional security and international relations. The military operations carried out within the framework of these conflicts reflect both military-strategic approaches and the clash of political interests. A chronological description and analysis of the events is essential, as they allow us to understand the logic behind military actions, their outcomes, and their strategic impact on Georgia’s security. The aim of this study is, on the one hand, to systematize the chronicle of military operations conducted in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali, and on the other hand, to explore the possibilities of their strategic interpretation. The analysis presented in this article is based on historical facts and sources, making it possible to assess military tactics and operations at the national, regional, and international security levels.
