Abstract

The article examines the dynamics of international actors’ involvement in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, with particular emphasis on developments following 2023. The main objective is to analyze the political and security strategies of external players—including the United States, the European Union, Arab states, Iran, and Turkey—that influence the recurring escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip. The study employs a systemic and comparative analytical framework to evaluate the intersection of international political interests and the factors contributing to the conflict’s persistence. Findings indicate that geopolitical competition, humanitarian crises, and regional security imbalances underlie repeated escalations. At the same time, international mediation efforts often face limitations due to the lack of political neutrality. The paper concludes by emphasizing the necessity of strengthening multilateralism and adopting a more comprehensive conflict management model grounded in international law and human rights principles.
