Although in most cases it is asymptomatic, it is a precancerous condition and necessarily requires the consultation of a dermatologist and dentist. The paper presents a clinical case - a 10 -year -old boy with a leukoplakia area on the right surface of the tongue. The diagnosis was confirmed on the basis of a clinical picture and cytological study. After the course of vitamin A therapy, electrodestruction was performed. After 1 year there was no recurrence. The patient is warned of possible recurrence and was given advice.
