The most important basis for maintaining the health of cattle, increasing productivity, and preventing zoonotic diseases is the comprehensive implementation of preventive veterinary and hygienic measures, which is especially important in the context of modern ecological challenges and fully reflects the principles of the “One Health” concept.

Veterinary hygiene develops measures to reduce the impact of harmful environmental factors on the body and protect against them. The implementation of such measures in practice leads to the optimization of the environment of animals. Veterinary-hygienic studies, rules and normative regulations, in particular the observance and use of correct principles of care, feeding, operation and other aspects, ensure the improvement of animal health, reduction of falls, increase in productivity, general well-being and, at the same time, the ecological safety of the environment - air, soil, water.
