Al. Kipshidze - About Georgian-Russian and Georgian-Armenian relations

Abstract

  Aleksandre Kipshidze was a famous Georgian historian, publicist, public and political figure. He started his journalistic activity while still in the seminary. He published correspondence in the newspaper "Droeba". He worked in various magazines and newspapers: "Tsnobis furceli", "Megobari", "Isari", "Moambe", "Eri" and "Iveria". He was one of the founders and a member of the editorial board of  the magazine "Klde"  and the newspaper “Sakartvelo”.

Aleksandre Kipshidze systematically wrote about the current situation in Georgia. As a historian, he showed good knowledge not only of the history of Georgia, but also of the history of European countries.

     As a historian, he knew well not only the history of Georgia, but also the history of European countries. In his publications, he talked about issues of economy, ethnography, culture and history of literature. He gave  arguments on each issue, was doing appropriate conclusions.

In his publications, he focuses on the relations between the Georgian and Armenian peoples, is speaking about of all those scientists who tried to falsify the past of Georgia, its history and degrade the Georgian people with their opinions.
