Abstract

Europe, the birthplace of modern civilization, has experienced changes and wars for thousands of years. It is still the focus of world politics, economics, and technology today. With the creation of the European Union, the concept of European integration has once again become a subject of public discussion. The withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union hurts the European Union, as the European Union was already struggling with a series of crises, such as the migration crisis, the eurozone crisis, and the escalation of anti-EU sentiment. The EU's main trading partner was the United Kingdom, which accounted for about 13% of its trade, so the decision of the United Kingdom to leave the European Union further increases the threats to the survival of the European Union, as the United Kingdom was an important member of the EU. After the United Kingdom's withdrawal, EU leaders fear that other member states will also demand their withdrawal from the EU's foreign policy if Brexit affects the imposition of EU sanctions and human rights. Even after the UK leaves the European Union, the UK aims to remain a global leader in world diplomacy. It is important to discuss, analyze, and determine the positive and negative consequences of Brexit.
