Abstract

This study describes the ecological situation of Gldani Large (White) Lake. It characterizes the hydrogeological and hydrological conditions of the lake and its surrounding areas. The hydrochemical indicators of the lake's water have been examined. Currently, the water balance of Gldani Lake is disrupted. The research identified the main factors contributing to the reduction of water in the lake and evaluated several alternatives for its replenishment.
