Publishing policy

A manuscript submitted for publication in the PIG must be original and must not have been previously published.

PIG takes copyright infringement, plagiarism, or any other violation of publishing practices very seriously. Our primary goal is to protect the rights of our authors, and we also aim to protect the reputation of the journal from any unethical behavior. If an article is found to have plagiarized or contains copyrighted material without permission or proper acknowledgment, or if there is a dispute regarding the authorship of the article, we reserve the right to take various actions. These actions may include publishing a correction, withdrawing the article, discussing the issue with the head of the department or dean of the author's institution, contacting relevant academic bodies or societies, or taking legal action if necessary.

Authors must obtain permission from the copyright holders to reproduce any images, tables, figures, or extensive quotations that have previously been published elsewhere.

Submitted manuscripts are sent to the Editor-in-Chief. He(she) makes a decision, and if the decision is positive, the manuscript is sent to a reviewer. PIG uses a uniform peer review process. Detailed information about the review process can be found in “Manuscript Review”.

All authors must indicate their ORCID number in the manuscript.
