metals, dredging, thresholdAbstract
The average, median, maximum and minimum concentrations of metals (Fe, Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn, Ni, Cr) in modern bottom sediments of Georgian Black Sea water area are statistically processed, geo-accumulation indices calculated, background concentrations of metals in bottom sediments aredetermined. Assessment criteria for the contamination of the dredged material are provided.
