Abstract

The pharmacist in modern healthcare is more than just a dispenser of medications. His role, which was previously primarily associated with the pharmacy, has now expanded to include active participation in the management of patients' health. The work they do has a fruitful impact not only on treatment outcomes, but also on overall public health and systemic effectiveness. Clinical consultations, medication therapy management, preventive measures, and public education are all part of the functions performed by pharmacists.
