Women make up 70% of the global healthcare workforce, and they have been on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19. The number of women employed in Georgia’s healthcare sector has surpassed that of men, at 62%.This article reviews a range of studies to provide a comprehensive assessment of the complex and changing effects of SARS-CoV-2 on sexual and reproductive health. It highlights the different needs of individuals and couples during and after the pandemic, highlighting the need for ongoing research and specialized healthcare practices.
