Optimization of Study Method for the Reliability of Urban Bus

In modern cities, relying solely on mileage to manage the reliability of public bus transport is insufficient. This is because the operational conditions of such vehicles include modes where assessing technical condition based solely on mileage is not relevant. This paper examines the characteristic features of M1 and M2 category buses operating on established public routes. It identifies the primary operating modes of mechanisms and systems affecting safety and develops a complex approach to reliability management for these buses as a unified technical product.
