Morphology of Some Cranial Nerves of the Georgian Shepherd

On the material of five carcasses of Georgian shepherds (10 preparations) by V.P. Vorobyov's well-known method of macro-micro preparation, we studied the anatomy of the lingual nerve of the Trigeminal nerve, the tympani cord of the Facial nerve, and the lingual branches of the Glossopharyngeal nerve on both the right and left sides of the preparation. In addition, the anatomy of the Oculomotor, Trochlear and Abducens nerves was studied. In addition, the connections of some nerves were revealed, for example, the lingual nerve establishes a connection with the tympani cord (branch of the VII-th pair of cranial nerves). The oculomotor nerve is connected to the parasympathetic nervous system through the ciliary ganglion.
