Optimal conditions for the synthesis of coordination compounds of d10-metal tetrathioarsenates(V) with nitrogen-containing ligands—pyridinine and 2,2I—dipyridyl have been developed. The composition and structure of the synthesized compounds, in addition to chemical analysis, study and physicochemical methods. It has been established that pyridine binds to the complexing agent with the appropriate coordination number, acting as a monodentate ligand, and 2,2I-dipyridyl forms chelate complexes as a bidentate ligand. Studies of the relationship of the synthesized substances to acids and alkalis have shown that these compounds do not significantly affect alkaline solutions, except for zinc-containing complexes, which dissolve in concentrated alkali solutions when heated. And when interacting with acids, they form tetraarsenic decasulfide, which partially decomposes in a strongly acidic environment. This explains the presence of tetraarsenic hexasulfide and sulfur as impurities.
