Contemporary Urban Planning increasingly emphasizes the importance of open public spaces for human well-being. According to Urban Agenda 2030 and Urban Health Rome declaration, Urban Development should be based on inclusivity, accessibility, and the promotion of health.

This article examines the accessibility of open public spaces as a key component of Urban Health and highlights the role of Universal Design principles in reducing physical and social barriers. Attention is given to the role of Industrial Designers, whose contribution is often overlooked despite their significant impact on the functionality, comfort, and usability of urban environments.

The study argues that the active involvement of industrial designer is essential for creating inclusive, human-centered spaces that enhance overall well-being.
