The Tkibuli-Shaori coal deposit represents one of the most complex mining-geological objects, characterized by complicated tectonic structures, variable coal seam thicknesses, and steep inclination angles. These conditions significantly complicate the selection of appropriate mine opening, preparation, and extraction technologies. The paper analyzes the geological structure of the deposit, the existing mining schemes, and their shortcomings, while proposing optimized technological solutions based on block division, improved safety measures, and increased mining efficiency. Particular attention is paid to the prospects of applying mechanized systems, as well as to reducing the risks of rock bursts and endogenous fires.
