Small plaque parapsoriasis (SPP) is a chronic, asymptomatic dermatosis. In its development, the primary function is carried out by T cells, that stimulates chronic inflammation. The World Health Organisation defines SPP as a benign disorder that, in contrast to Large Plaque Parapsoriasis (LPP), almost never transforms into T cell lymphoma, whereas LPP evolves into overt MF in 40% of cases. Consequently, prompt differentiation and appropriate management of the aetiology of these dermatoses are imperative. Biopsy plays an important role along with the clinical picture and further pathomorphological examination.
