Abstract

Antibacterial activity of the whitre flower onion samples has been proved towards the following bacteria: Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Staphilococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus mutans, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Trichomona vaginalis, Bacteria pyocianeus.

Sum of steroid saponines is characterised by mediumactivity towards bacteria, spirostanol fraction by strongactivity, furostanol fraction — by resistance. Glycosids of b-chlorogenine are characterized by stronger activity, than agigenin glycosids. Bacteria pyocianeus are resistant toward analytic samples.
