Abstract

The article is about documentaries about Georgia made by foreigners. It discusses films created on different topics. This thesis focuses on a BBC film that analyzes the Russian-Georgian conflict, in particular the August 2008 war. This film with various interviews, videos and photographs makes the facts described in it convincing. An interesting number of films may include films that relate to people's daily lives, and such an article is considered to be the French documentary "Georgia, Chiatura", which reflects the work, problems and traditions of the population of this city. This article also focuses on foreign films in which facts and events are not thoroughly explored and to some extent even biased.
