Intercultural Relations - Challenge or an Opportunity for Development?

Abstract

Intercultural relations are very actual and important topic in today's world, that’s why, many researchers have worked on this issue and accordingly there are different kind of opinions, however, at the current stage, it requires additional research and updating of the issue, therefore, my article analyzes and presents reviews on the challenges and development opportunities of intercultural relations.

The article discusses the relationships between people who have different values ​​and ideologies, as well as the challenge of multiculturalism and the opportunities for development. Besides, the article discusses several books and scientific articles that deal with intercultural relations.  For analysis, they are presented by Samuel Huntington, Christian Fernández’es, Nana Tsikhistavi’s, and Ani Omiadze’s works. Besides them, there are presented a published study on multiculturalism, authored by Sowon Lee and Boyoung Kim.

Based on the materials discussed in the article, it is analyzed to what extent the interaction between different cultural groups is a challenge for countries and a risk to harmonious coexistence.
