The Essence of War through the Prism of Mood Theory

This article examines the phenomenon of war through the prism of the general mood theory. An analysis of the nature of war and its causes, as well as an overview of its prospects, is discussed in the context of Dimitri Uznadze's theory of disposition. The paper emphasizes the relationship between the individual and the collective subject in explaining the motivation for involvement in war. The article deals with contemporary geopolitical conflicts and their impact on the character of war. It assesses the role of weapons of mass destruction and their impact on the scale of war. According to the conclusion drawn, war can be avoided through a fair distribution of resources and the strengthening of international dialogue.
