პირის ღრუს ლორწოვანის ეროზიულ-წყლულოვანი დაზიანებები სხვადასხვა დაავადების სიმპტომი შეიძლება იყოს, ამიტომაც ხშირად დერმატოლოგები და სტომატოლოგები სირთულეს აწყდებიან სწრაფი და ზუსტი დიაგნოზის დასმის დროს. ფორმით და ზომით, ასევე ჩივილებით, აღნიშნული ელემენტები ძალიან ჰგავს ერთმანეთს და მნიშვნელოვანია ადრეული დამხმარე დიაგნოსტიკური მეთოდების გამოყენება და ყველა, თუნდაც იშვიათი დაავადების გახსენება, რომ დროულად მოხდეს სწორი დიაგნოზის დასმა და სათანადო მკურნალობის დაწყება.
