ქრონიკული სპონტანური ურტიკარია თანამედროვე კლინიკური ალერგოლოგიის ერთ-ერთი სერიოზული გამოწვევაა. იგი იწვევს პაციენტების ცხოვრების ხარისხის მნიშვნელოვან დაქვეითებას და დისკომფორტს. ცალკე პრობლემას ქმნის მისი მართვის სირთულეები და ტრადიციული ანტიჰისტამინური პრეპარატების (სიმპტომური მკურნალობის) დაბალეფექტურობა. ყოველივე ამის გამო, დღის წესრიგში დადგა ქრონიკული სპონტანური ურტიკარიის პათოგენეზზე მოქმედი მკურნალობის მეთოდების შემუშავება და ამ მიმართულებით ინოვაციური მედიკამენტების შექმნა. აღნიშნული პრობლემის განხილვას ემსახურება მოცემული სტატია.
