Abstract

Truth and truth are located on different planes in the jouirnalistic field, the truth ia a part of the poetic truth, which unfolds in its entirery in front of the journalist. It depends on the journalist’s personal perception and intuition, professional semse of smell, how he will provide is with the potential truth, how and in what way he will touch it, what facts he will choose for illustration, and how perceptible the truth he conveys will be. This is already a field of pure prefessional creativity, journalistic art.

Truth – this is one of the postulates in jouirnalistic work. In all the literature surrounding jouirnalistic ethics, truth is a topic that is always emphasized and constantly at the center of attention. However, there are two sides to the coin, and it must be said that there are jouirnalistics who do not take responsibility for being faithful to the truth. Precisely, in order to avoid this tendency and for jouirnalism to serve the truth, the world’s associations of jouirnalists, Unions, private editorial offices, or state-subsidized news media consider the service of truth as the main requirement of their ethical code. Is the truth equal to the truth? What do we collectively mean by this term? Can a story necessarily be true if the facts consituting an event are true and fit to be true? Can a jouirnalist, to convey the truth, as a court witness? Does the jouirnalistic jouirnalist ignore the name of the source in the text, his identity? Does he quote out of context, does he paraphrase evidence? Is this the correct quote? Does it belong to the truth what has already been said? Or does he also tell us what was not said? Is the truth the whole truth or part of the truth? Is there truth behind the facts? Can a jouirnalist tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, as a court witness? – These are all the issues that interest us a scientific researches.
