Abstract

The article reviews international educational studies and talks about their role in improving teaching and learning. The mentioned studies are an effective tool for the analysis of the achievements in the educational space, the needs in the education system, and the readiness for modern challenges. Therefore, analysis of research results and their purposeful use is the best way to improve the quality of the educational process.

Research skills are not separated from a teacher’s daily activities, the XXI century teacher’s classroom is already an interesting space for findings and discoveries, teachers observe their own activities, often unplanned, but still daily.

A research teacher is a person who daily observes, listens to the pupils and tries to facilitate the formation of such a learning environment in which all links of the school community (pupils, teacher, parents) demonstrate positive and result-oriented cooperation skills.
