Abstract

The role of theoretical material is great, both in the school course of mathematics and in other subjects, but the main indicator of knowledge is used in the practice of theoretical conclusions, because the content of text problems is close to reality, and it can be said that it is a kind of solving life problems. The problem is actual, because solving text problems requires and develops the ability to better understand the text, imagine, model, logical thinking, coherent reasoning, find and solve different ways of solving the problem, analyze and synthesize. Shifting the main focus to practical problem solving increases students’ motivation and interest in mathematics. In order to determine the causes of the problem, we used both quantitative and qualitative methods of research: testing and questionnaires with students; questionnaires with parents; Interview with teachers. The research process showed me that cooperation with collegues  and parents is effective. In the process of communication, ideas and ways to solve the problem are identified.After identifying the problem, we planned approopriate interventions. The implementation of the interventions allowed us dynamically observe the progress of the process and determine the progress made as a result of their implementation. We saw that imagination develops better with variety of activities, which helps to overcome the problem, ask adequate questions and then make equations. This helped students solve word problems better.
