Coordination compounds of d-metal tetrathiarsenates with ethylenediamine have been synthesized and studied according to the general formula: [Ag(DEA)2]3AsS4 and [M(DEA)4]3(AsS4)2 where M= Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd (II). The synthesized compounds are weakly crystalline substances of various colors. Their composition and structure have been established by IR spectral, elemental, X-ray and thermographic analysis. It is shown that the bond between the ligand and the complexing agent, obtained through nitrogen atoms and the tetratriarsenate ion, is located in the outer sphere of the complex. The thermal stability and decomposition of the obtained compounds were studied.
