The physiological activity of humates allocated from peat of the Dmanisi (Georgia) deposit has been studied. Two methods of humate isolation were used in the studies: ultrasonic and Kononova-Belchikova. Experiments were carried out on water cultures of beans. In order to increase the activity of humates, they were treated with a dilute solution of acetic acid. It has been established that the physiological activity of preparations treated with acetic acid is higher. It was also found that the method of applying drugs affects the nature of the physiological effect of the drug on plants: with root application, the percentage ratio of the root mass to the mass of the whole plant decreases from 12% (control variant) to 8-9%, and with leaf application, it accordingly increased to 22-24%.
