Sociolinguistics provides the ways people construct aspects of social identity by means of language. A language, is an informant of nation’s culture giving clues about who and what we are, what’s our status, where we are and where from, are we illiterate or not, male or female and so on; we tried to define -Why do we say the same things in different ways? What’s our aim in narration ?- and many more. All these refer to identification of social functions revealed in a language.
We, native speakers realize ourselves in society and share nation culture transmitted from generation to generation.
