Editorial Policy

  1. General Provisions
  2. The international scientific journal "SociopolitoLOGOS" is an open access scientific journal, which is published at least 4 times a year;
  3. The journal covers various areas of social sciences;
  4. The journal is an openly accessible publication, which means that it can be viewed by the user without any additional fees or registration. Users may access, download, distribute, or otherwise use the journal and the works contained therein for any lawful purpose without the prior consent of the publisher or authors, in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons license specified in the editorial policy (see Copyright).

Types of papers to be published in the journal

  1. The following types of papers can be published in the international scientific journal “SociopolitoLOGOS”:

  1. Rules for selecting papers for the journal

Papers for publication in the journal are submitted directly to the editorial board or editor.

  2. The author must submit the paper to the editorial office via e-mail sociopolitologos@gtu.ge. The paper must be accompanied by: title, name, surname, position held, scientific degree, e-mail, abstract, keywords (in Georgian and English);
  3. The author must provide the editorial office with the author’s open identifier: Orcid-16-digit unique code
  4. Authors of articles selected by the editor will receive a confirmation via e-mail sociopolitologos@gtu.ge, after which the author(s) must submit the articles via e-mail;
  5. The author must provide the editor with a completed, technically and linguistically correct text;
  6. The editorial board is not obliged to consider the issue of publishing a work that is not formatted according to the journal's requirements.
  7. Paper selection procedure
  8. In the absence of plagiarism, the editor selects the works and submits them to the reviewers for a final decision;
  9. The work is selected by the editorial board through a secret review procedure.

  11. Authors of selected papers will be notified of the board's decision via e-mail sociopolitologos@gtu.ge
  12. Article Content Standards
  13. The purpose of the paper should be to expand an existing issue in the field or raise a new issue, it should contain solid arguments and substantiated opinions;
  14. The research methodology should be fully respected in the paper.

To ensure the preservation and accessibility of all articles published in the journal, the articles are stored on the multidisciplinary publishing platform https://journals.4science.ge
