2023 marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of writer Sergo Kldiashvili (1893-1968). His creations (novels, short stories) were favorite reading in the last century. The descendant of the great writer had relations with writers and poets of different times and directions since his childhood, so his memories and notes are especially important every day. Employees of Leonidze State Museum of Georgian Literature under the leadership of its then director Iza Orjonikidze published a small, not so standard size "Sergo Kldiashvili. A Notebook (publishing house "Literary Chronicle").
Although the book does not have scientific value and it is a collection of paragraphs collected from memories, it provides the richest information about the writers of two centuries (Nikoloz Baratashvili, Davit Kldiashvili, "Tsiferkantselebi", Simon Chikovani, etc.).
The thoughts of Sergo Kldiashvili's about literary directions, "Tsiperkantseli", his modern literary processes, are presented in "A Notebook";
The edition is prefaced by the excellent foreword of the editor, poet Iza Orjonikidze, in which Sergo Kldiashvili himself is characterized as having another grace. Avoiding the immoral games of the Union of Writers, "another source of words and answers and honesty", which is proven by the amazing "prayer" and S. Kldiashvili's warm, heartfelt confession which placed on the cover..
Sergo Kldiashvili. "A Notebook" is a unique summary of his thoughts, which appears to be an important type of documentary prose and makes the poetic world perceived by the writer's eyes even more visible to literary experts and ordinary readers.
