The role of museum tourism in the economic development of the region (on the example of Adjara)

The paper « The role of museum tourism in the economic development of the region (on the example of Adjara)“ presents a comparative analysis of economic indicators between the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and Georgia, evaluating Adjara’s contribution to the country’s economic development. The importance of tourism for the region’s economy is emphasized, along with an assessment of the current utilization of museum tourism potential in Adjara. Specific recommendations are proposed to further develop tourism in the highlands of Adjara, including the possibility of creating complex museum institutions.
