The poem “Daddy” by American poet Sylvia Plath is a part of her last book collection “Ariel”. It is a controversial and debatable poem from the poet’s works. Except the poet’s biography the poem’s artistic values should be noted. In this article is discussed: the influence and impact the poem had on, there is a discussion about Fraud’s theory, feminisms and its artistical values, also the article deals with the language experiments Sylvia Plath was carrying out during the writing process.
