Abstract

 The paper provides a comparative study of typological suffix education adjectives in Italian and Russian languages. We explored the semantics suffixes of adjectival. Identified factors that affect the expansion of adjectival morphemes in Italian and Russian languages.Typological studies of the Russian and Italian languages ​​were carried out in Italy, the city of Naples. In all European languages, the adjective has great semantic possibilities, so we chose adjective suffixes for research. We have studied the semantics of adjective suffixes in both languages, the productivity of derivational suffixes of adjectives, interesting cases of identical use of adjective suffix morphemes, common features of adjective suffix morphemes in both languages, etc. The purpose of the study is a typological analysis of the formation of suffixal adjectives in Italian and Russian; revealing similarities and differences between Italian and Russian adjectival suffixes at the word-formation level. The following methods were used in the study: statistical analysis, word-formation analysis, morphemic analysis, component analysis and component synthesis. The words of the colloquial language, literary language, fiction and terminological vocabulary were chosen for the study.
