Abstract

Plato-s areas of interest included language and knowledge relationship issues too, in particular he is interested in ideas The question of the relation of language  of the world, whether language is a reliable foundation. In the search for knowledge is a reliable foundation. In the search for knowledge  and  whether the issue may be resolved by the fact that if we know the words, we know the things. If, like Plato, we consider ourselves independent. There is a reality that can be cognized in this case, there are 2 possibilities for language: Language “reflects” reality as well as a mirror and this reflection will change with the change of reality, or language is conditional and has nothing to do with reality. If the language reality directly reflects, according  to Plato, then the search for knowledge makes sence is deprived because, in this case, language itself is knowledge and if it turns out that langauge is conditional, it is no longer useful to reality to learn.
