Abstract

Creative approaches in teaching German as a foreign language (DaF) play a significant role. They help students discover new ways to learn the language and make the learning process more personalized. The term "creativity" is difficult to define. There are numerous definitions, and each author interprets "creativity" a bit differently. Creativity occupies a central place in the didactics of teaching German and helps make the learning process more relaxed. Creative tasks and materials stimulate the imagination and spark learners' interest, even when the material to be learned appears quite complex and dull. Creative methods such as role-playing, interactive storytelling, and music motivate students to learn the foreign language more effectively.

The visual aspect plays a significant role in the creative framework of teaching. It is highly recommended to use images in the learning process, as their application is extremely effective at all stages of foreign language acquisition. Describing images not only aids in expanding vocabulary but also helps students better understand grammatical rules and initiate engaging discussions.

Creative tasks can be developed based on poems. These can be used in various ways in German as a Foreign Language classes to enhance language learning. Poems offer linguistic, cultural, and creative benefits that enrich the learning experience.

The application of the aforementioned creative methods is illustrated using the topic "Comparison and Declension Types of Adjectives," which is one of the most challenging aspects of German grammar and is particularly difficult for learners of German.

n creative learning, the use of technical tools should not be overlooked. Videos play an important role in German as a Foreign Language instruction and offer numerous advantages that make learning more effective and interactive.

Videos allow learners to experience the German language in real-life contexts. They can hear nuances of colloquial language in everyday situations, gaining insight into how native speakers use the language, including intonation, pronunciation, and nonverbal communication.

The video integrates smoothly into the lesson, making the lecture more lively and engaging. The combination of image and sound facilitates listening comprehension. The video subject also helps learners become accustomed to different accents, speaking speeds, and registers of language.

Creative approaches in German instruction provide an opportunity to enhance learners' language proficiency through motivating, individualized, and practical tasks, making the learning process particularly interesting and effective.
