Soul - exiled and lonely /According to the collection of Genrietta Kutateladze - "Requiem for the Refugees"/

Abstract

The article analyzes the new collection of poems by Genrietta Kutateladze "Requiem for the Refugees". This is a poetry filled with philosophical questions, saturated with deep knowledge of human psychology, in which an era is skillfully depicted, a time devoid of God - cold and soulless, with supposedly democracy and false liberal ideas, in which there is no room left for pure feelings and poetry, innocent tears and compassion. Genrietta Kutateladze's beautiful, multi-layered, deep subtext poems convince us that the Refugee lives in each person and often the person becomes a prisoner of the Refugee’s syndrome, therefore, "Requiem for the Refugee" is two-colored - black and white, bipolar - evil and good. Genrietta Kutateladze was able to convey her message in a highly artistic manner in the original form, only with her own voice and intonation, with free verse, whose strong internal rhythm makes it quite melodic and dynamic.
