Abstract
Epidermoid cyst of the tonsil is a rare disease, which is difficult to diagnose clinically. The precise identification of which requires a complex analysis of the information received by clinical and morphological investigation methods. Among the morphological diagnostic methods, priority should be given to the morphological study of material obtained from the body tissue by a punch biopsy. Presented case of epidermoid cyst of the tonsil belongs to a 65 year old woman, who entered the hospital with a diagnosis of chronic tonsillitis. The described case of epidermoid cysts of tonsil (polypoid form) is interesting because of its rarity.
