Abstract
Any violation of the anatomical and physiological parameters of the oral cavity leads to functional and aesthetic changes in patients, which affects their quality of life. Based on the above, the interest of clinicians in methods of reconstructing tissue deficiencies in the oral cavity does not decrease. We have described a method for reconstructing tissue deficits that develop during the surgical treatment of fibroepithelial granuloma. This method of surgical intervention allows for the excision of a tumor-like formation localized in the lower alveolar ridge within the limits of healthy tissues. In addition, the method provides restoration of significant soft tissue deficits developed as a result of operative intervention by mobilizing the healthy mucosa prepared on the lower half of the transitional fold (duplicate) in the area of the defect. The flap is applied to the vestibular arch and the vestibular surface of the exposed alveolar ridge and is sutured along the edges of the defect with atraumatic sutures (4/0). This achieves modeling of the vestibular surface and arch of the inferior alveolar ridge.
