Abstract

This article examines the geopolitical transformations shaping the contemporary international order, with a particular focus on the strategic recalibration of global powers. The study highlights the decline of traditional hegemonic structures, the resurgence of multipolarity, and the shifting dynamics of global governance. Through the lens of political realism and the balance of power principle, the paper explores how key actors, such as the United States, China, and Russia, navigate emerging challenges, including economic adjustments, military conflicts, and diplomatic reconfigurations. The research further scrutinizes the role of alternative alliances, such as BRICS and other regional coalitions, in counterbalancing Western influence. Methodologically, the paper employs qualitative analysis, incorporating historical comparisons and case studies to illustrate the evolving nature of international politics. The findings suggest that while the erosion of the unipolar system presents new opportunities for regional actors, it simultaneously intensifies global uncertainty, necessitating adaptive strategic approaches.
