In the article - "On the need to establish entrepreneurial school incubators in Georgia" – it is discussed the imbalance between registered and actually operating (i.e., operating) enterprises in the country, and the main reason for this is the low professionalism of potential entrepreneurs in business management. According to the authors of the article, when only 20-25 percent of the total number of registered enterprises are active, and the rest are inactive, and this situation is not an isolated case, but is repeated from year to year, it means that people who do not have the elementary knowledge of this are starting a business.
Georgia became independent in 1991 and began to transition from a socialist economy to a market economy. Many measures were taken with the assistance of the World Bank and the IMF. Only the issue of establishing business incubators and teaching people business there, which was implemented on a large scale in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and elsewhere, was left without attention.
This article is devoted to the organization of this issue in the regions of Georgia. The authors of the article hope that if this issue is resolved, 75-80% of newly opened enterprises will no longer be idle and 40-45% of the population will no longer be poor.
