21 საუკუნის დასაწყისში მოლუსკ Spisula solidissima- ს კვერცხუჯრედის ცენტროსომებში აღმოჩენილ იქნა ახალი რნმ (RNA)- ს ჯგუფი და მათ სახელად დაერქვათ ცენტროსომული რნმ- ები (cnRNA). ერთ-ერთი ამ ახალი, cnRNA11- ას, სეკვენირებისას აღმოჩნდა, რომ მის სტრუქტურაში არის კონსერვატიული უკუ-ტრანსკრიპტაზის დომენი. უკუტრანსკრიპტაზის მეშვეობით ხდება DNA- ს ცვლილებები და ამიტომ cnRNA, რომლებიც მის დომენს შეიცავენ ხდის მათ ინფორმაციის შენახვის და აღდგენის ადგილად. ამიტომაც cnRNA ჰარმონიულად ეწერება დიფერენციაციის და რეპლიკატიური დაბერების ცენტრიოლარულ ჰიპოტეზაში როგორც ციტოგენეტიკური სტატუსის ცვლილების პოტენციური ინდუქტორი მოლეკულა.
