STRATEGY OF LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT BODIES IN MANAGING THE SOCIAL NEEDS OF THE POPULATION

Abstract

The population appeals to local self-government and government due to low social status and health problems. Health problems include: funding for surgery, funding for medications, one-time assistance, and so on. And also on the basis of research, it can be assumed that by-laws and programs are not effectively implemented by local governments and self-government bodies. Observations may also suggest that the population is under-informed and that local government and self-government employees are failing to exercise their statutory rights.
